installing MkDocs
In Kubuntu, install pip, then use sudo -H pip install mkdocs mkdocs-material
to install MkDocs and the Material for MkDocs theme. Alternatively, use sudo -H pip install mkdocs-bootstrap
to install MkDocs Bootstrap theme as a theme, or use sudo -H pip install mkdocs-rtd-dropdown
to install ReadTheDocs Dropdown as a theme.
Personal experience
- Works on Snarky running Kubuntu 17.10.
- Somewhat works on Slim running CentOS 7, with pages rendering incorrectly. Does not work with mkdocs-material.
